DPS welcomes enquiries from parent(s), guardian(s) or sponsor(s)
without any commitment on their part. Before any boy or girl can
be considered for admission, parents are requested to submit the
required documents and follow the admission procedure.
Admission to Delhi Public School Aligarh is open to all who fulfill
the entry requirements, followed by entrance test and subsequent
interview. Normally, admissions are open for Play Group and Nursery
class each year, while admissions to other classes depend on vacancies.
Admission is based purely on performance in the entrance test and
interview. Since there are only few vacancies for higher classes,
admission will be on first come first served bases. Admission is
granted on the basis of successful clearance of entrance test and
subsequent interview with student, accompanied by both the parents.
AGE REQUIREMENT
For admission in Play Group:
2 years on 1st October in the preceding year of the academic session.
For admission in Nursery:
3 years as on 1st October in preceding year of the academic session.
For admission in Prep:
4 years as on 1st October in preceding year of the academic session.
For admission in Class I :
5 years as on 1st October in preceding year of the academic session

NB: The City office will issue the confirmation slip and fee booklet which has to be produced in any of the PNB branch for depositing fee.
One month’s notice in writing or a month’s fee in lieu of the said notice must be submitted before withdrawing a student from the school.
Those who leave the school in May must, in all cases, pay the fee for the month of June. Transfer Certificate will not be issued until all dues of school are remitted.
A student can be asked to leave the school on grounds of sheer indiscipline A student who fails twice will not be permitted to continue his/her studies in the school, especially if he/she is below average in the class. In case of withdrawal takes place owing to the above reasons, the question of charging a month’s fee in lieu of notice does not arise. Parents are advised to write to the school authorities or use the suggestion box in case the ward is facing any problem. Alternatively, you use our interactive section of the DPS Aligarh website too. Your letter will replied after the matter has been discussed with the concerned staff members. If parents desire to meet more than one teacher at a time, a common meeting may be arranged with the concerned teachers.
Admission fee & other charges are non-refundable in any case. (Only caution money is refundable).
School rules
- Every student and school appointee should wear his/her Identity Card and the respective badges daily.
- Attendance on all National festival days and school functions is mandatary for students.
- Changing of classroom between periods should be done in silence and in a disciplined manner.
- Students are expected to observe discipline and decorum in their behavior and outside the school as it reflects the image of the school.
- Students should never cheat or be unfair but should always be truthful.
- Respect and appreciate the beauty of the classroom and of the school premises. Any damage observed should immediately be reported.
- Students must take care of their belongings like books, money, clothes, etc. Anything left by the students in the school shall be deposited with the school office as lost property which shall be given back to the owner on claiming it. However, the school is not responsible for any such loss.
- Students should resist from undesirable behaviour like whistling, shouting or running in the corridors or in the class while in the school.
- Students not in proper uniform will not be allowed to enter their classroom.
- School property like furniture, walls etc. should not be defaced. The culprit will be penalized for the same.
- Students are not allowed to bring sharp instrument/weapons like pistol, knife or any other object, which can cause injury to others.
- Books other than the text books or library books should not be brought to the school.
- Use of scooters/motorbikes is strictly prohibited.
- The school reserves the right to expel any student whose progress in studies is considered unsatisfactory or whose conduct is harmful to the school atmosphere. Immorality, Insubordination or contempt of authority and breaking bonds are some of the reasons for immediate expulsion or rustication.
- Cameras, mobile phones, etc. are strictly prohibited in the school premises
Admission to Play Group, Nursery & Prep. is alloted on the basis of interaction & interview of child and the parents. Written Test is held in the following subject Viz. English, Mathmatics & Hindi for class I to IV. Class VI upwords will have a paper in science in addition to English and Mathmatics, all entrance papers are for duration of 01 hour each. i. e. 3 hours for three subjects.

2. Transfar certuificate - Previous School(for Class I and above)
3. Medical Fitness - MBBS Doctor Certificate or Registered Medical Practitioner.
4. Blood Group - Authorised lab. Certified by MBBS doctor.
