WORKSHOP AT JAIPUR on 02-August-2008
D.P.S Aligarh sent a Team of six members to attend the workshop held at DPS, Jaipur on 2nd and 3rd August’ 08. Two of our teachers, Mr. G.K Gupta and Ms. Rana Ishrat, along with the four students Tanzeel – ur – Rehman Khan (XI B) , Sheetal Gulati (XI C) , Aira Jain (IX C) and Shubham Mittal (IX C) went to D.P.S. Jaipur to attend the workshop on “Life Skills Developments and Mental Health Promotion”- an initiative of DPS Society, Council of Health and Media.
Topics like Challenges during Adolescence, Life–Skills, Leadership and Communication Skills, Drug Abuse, Dealing with Peer pressure were very nicely and effectively dealt by Dr. Jitendra Nagpal, Mrs. Divya Prasad and Mrs. Seema Sharma. Teachers and students were trained as Teacher Facilitator and Peer- educators respectively to conduct a similar workshop at their respective school, so that children of DPS Fraternity can enhance their personality and growth.
