The school campus boasts of myriad of facilities in vicinity like two standard cricket fields, four coaches, Basketball Court, Badminton Courts, Tennis court, Volleyball Court, Table tennis court, Pool Table, Equestrian arena, Taekwondo arena , and skating rink . A feather to the cap is an international style pavilion with all the modern amenities with seating of 1140 spectators.
Delhi Public School Aligarh held its Annual Athletic Meet 2019 on 19th November 2019 in DPS Senior wing premises with great pomp and show. Prof. Zamirullah Khan, Chairman Physical Education Department, AMU Aligarh graced the occasion as ‘Guest of Honour’. Students from class VII to XII from all 4 houses participated in the meet. The schools in vicinity under the programme HOL became a part of this event. Several other dignitaries Mrs. Neena Chako, Principal DPS Hathras, Mrs. Rajani Singh, Principal DPS Civil Lines Aligarh and Principals of HOL Schools- Shri Ram Public School, Vishwa Bharti Public School, G.D Public School, Aligarh bestowed their enigmatic presence. Vaanya Tiwari (Class XI A) formally welcomed the august gathering. The event kick started with lighting of torch and torch relay by Sports Captain Kabeer Yadav. It was followed by ‘Flag Hoisting Ceremony’. The Guard of Honour was given to Prof. Zamirullah Khan. Head Girl Vaishali Tiwari Commander in Chief had given the command. A beautifully synchronized March Past wsas presented by four Houses (Chenab, Ganga, Jhelum & Ravi) and HOL School teams led by the Head Boy Shubh Chaddha who came riding on a horse holding a sword followed by other equestrians. All the students swear into the oath administered by the Head Boy. Soon the ground turned into an arena where the fierce combat in the form of Inter House events 100mts, 200mts, 400mts sprint, (4X100) mts relay took place.
The entire audience was left enthralled and filled the arena with ever soaring enthusiasm and gusto. The highlights of the event were Mass display of aerobic exercises, – Assemblage of Animation showcased by the students of Class 7th and 8th. A thought provoking presentation on themes- Woman Empowerment, Save Girl Child and Save Water recently taken into its curriculum by CBSE was staged by the students of Class IX and XI. Finally the most eagerly awaited moment arrived when cheers and clapping thundered the arena during prize distribution Ceremony. Trophies, medals and certificates bestowed top the winners amidst huge round of applause. Best Athlete Trophy was bagged by Nitya Sadani & Pranav Jain (class VII & VIII ), Gunjan Yadav and Shivang Vashishtha (Class IX & X), Samriddhi Arora and Krishnaveer Singh (Class XI & XII). Best House March Past Trophy along with Cock House Trophy was grabbed by Jhelum House. The meet came to an end with the declaration of Closing and Lowering of Flag by Mrs. Aarti Nigam, Principal DPS Aligarh. The event culminated exuberantly with Grand Finale – a dance presentation which was showcased by the amalgamation of all the participants and teachers. Vote of thanks was rendered by Gunjan Yadav (class X). The day came to an end with singing an ode to our country National Anthem.
Cricket team of DPS Aligarh had participated in the Inter School Cricket Tournament 2019 at Heritage International School Aligarh from 14th to 19th Oct 2019. The tournament based on knock-out method and 16 teams participated in the Tournament.
We got walk over in our 1st & 2nd match with Al-Barkaat School and D S Balmandir School on 16th & 17th Oct 2019 respectively. We played semi final match with Wisdom Public School on 18th Oct, 2019 and won by 23 runs, Mannan Farooq of our school declared man of the match for scoring 25 runs and taken 3 wickets.
The most awaited match of the tournament held on 19th Oct, 2019 “THE FINAL OF THE INTER SCHOOL CRICKET TOURNAMENT 2019” played between DPS Aligarh and Shantiniketan World School. DPS Aligarh won the final by 6 wickets and become the champion, Captain Siddharth Chaudhry of DPS Aligarh declared Man of the match of the final for his all round performance.

Athletics team of DPS Aligarh participated in CBSE Cluster IV athletics championship from 3rd to 6th Oct 2019 at Suditi Global Academy Etawah. Students of 91 schools participated in the tournament.
Opening ceremony was declared open by the Chief Guest on 3rd Oct 2019.
Our six students participated in the meet at different events. Samriddhi Arora, Anushka Singh and Rohit Chahar participated in shot Put and discus throw events, Himashi Agarwal and Shivang Vashishtha participated in 100 mtrs and 200 mtrs events.
Closing ceremony was held on6th Oct 2019 Chief Guest distributed the prizes and declared tournament closed.
Basketball Team of DPS Aligarh participated in the CBSE Cluster Basketball Tournament Boys (open)-2019’ at DPS Etawah. Students of 83 teams participated in the tournament in different age categories based on knock out method. Opening ceremony was declared open by the Chief Guest on 13th Sep 2019.
DPS Aligarh team participated in under 19 age group category. In which 37 teams participated. We lost the match in third round.
St Andrews Agra Won the tournament. Closing ceremony was held on 15th Sep 2019 and Chief Guest distributed the prizes and declared tournament closed.
An Inter House Badminton tournament (Girls single) was organized in DPS Aligarh on 27th April 2019, in which the girls from all the houses participated with their tireless energy and dauntless spirit.
Nitya Sadani of Ravi house captivated the audience with her marvelous performance and she held the first position. Aastha Grover of Ganga house put her energy to the largest possible extent and stood second in the tournament. While Aadya Pathak and Riddhima Thakur representing Chenab and Jhelum house respectively got the third and fourth position.
In Badminton Girls Double, Ravi house got first position and Chenab stood second while Ganga and Jhelum bagged third and fourth positions respectively.

An Inter House Badminton (Boys single) Tournament was organized in Badminton hall on 27th April 2019, in which all the houses participated with full proof advanced preparations. Ganga house participants achieved the first position with the game spirit of Anuj Jain while Dhruvdeep Gupta bagged the second position representing Ravi house. Madhvan of Chenab house held the third position. Sidhharth jain of Jhelum house got the fourth position in the tournament.
In the Boys Double category Ganga house came first, Ravi house traditionally got the second position while Chenab house and Jhelum house again satisfied their quest for victory with third and fourth position respectively. All the participants were appreciated for putting their full vigor and energy in the tournament.
