    The scholar badge ceremony of Classes III to VI was held on two consecutive days i.e. 2nd August 2019 and 3rd August 2019 at Delhi Public School Aligarh. The Chief Guest on Day 1 was Ms. Priya Jain, Member, Managing Committee, DPS Aligarh and Chief Guest of Day 2 was Prof. K.V.S.M Krishna, Vice Chancellor, Mangalayatan University.

    The ceremony is a highly prestigious event for the school as students excelling in academics, co-curricular activities and those with highest attendance are honoured on stage. The ceremony commenced with watering of plants. The welcome address was given by the Headmistress, Ms. Bhavana Bhardwaj, who congratulated the students on their achievements. A very beautiful and melodious song was presented by DPS student’s choir group. An amazing and energetic dance performance “Shiv Tandav” was presented by school dance troupe and the performance was concluded with Ganesh Bhakti. The ceremony was followed by the felicitation.

    On 2nd August the Principal, Ms. Aarti Nigam blessed and congratulated the students on their achievements and on 3rd August Chief Guest Mr. K.V.S.M Krishna blessed the students with his motivating words and he also said it is very important to felicitate and award students for their good work. The event concluded with the national anthem.

  • INVESTITURE CEREMONY 2019-20
  • The investiture is an important ceremony organised by Delhi Public School Aligarh every year to invest a great deal of power/ leadership to the young administrators of the school. Even so, this year the ceremony was held on 7th September 2019 in the school premises.

    The ceremony presided over with the arrival of the graceful chief guest, Dr. (Mrs.) Swathi Rao Kulhari, w/o Mr. Akash Kulhari, SSP City Aligarh. Dr. (Mrs.) Swathi Rao Kulhariis a Ph.D. scholar from Tsukuba University, Japan. Presently, she is engrossed as a professor in Department of Science and Strategy in Aligarh Muslim University. The other esteemed guests included Sir Swapnil Jain, Pro-Vice Chairman, Delhi Public School, Aligarh, Madam Priya Jain, member of School Managing Committee. Our very own Principal Ma’am Ms. Aarti Nigam and Head Mistress Ma’am Ms. Bhavana Bhardwaj embellished the show with them.

    The ceremony began by welcome of the guests by offering a sapling and itinerary to guests, followed by watering of plants. Further, the Headmistress Ma’am Ms. Bhavana Bhardwaj welcomed the guests officially through her kind words. A brilliant group song and an amazing dance show were put forward by the students. Following which was the investiture confided in 62 students senate marking the beginning of leadership by the student council. The honours of confiding power in students was done by the guests.     The chief guest then adorned the show by her appreciative kind words wherein she admired the zeal of students and efforts put in training them by the faculty. Sir Swapnil Jain, the Pro-Vice Chairman, Delhi Public School, Aligarh, in his address said, “Students should be motivated to do better in life without being forced into doing something. They should have the time to relax their minds rather than being a part of a never ending race. The students should be able to enjoy their childhood and their time spent in Delhi Public School Aligarh. The ceremony ended with Vote of Thanks rendered by the Head Boy, Chetanya Raj Gautam of Class VI C.
